You are correct! Water in a crawl space can cause many problems, Mold, Bactria, damage to pipes and undermine footings to name a couple. We recently added a sum-pump and fan system to lower the moisture level on a home. The drainage from the house above was flooding them. It took months of monitoring and adjustment to fix the moisture problem.
