Jeff Mudd, President
Jeff is a San Diego native and is married with two teenage boys. His
favorite past times are learning to sail and camping. With over 20 years
experience in the wood repair business. Jeff's greatest enjoyment is
helping his team members become successful.

Michael Spencer
Michael Spencer has been with Best-Rate from the start and is
a member of the management team. Michael brings with him an
extensive background in the construction and building
industry, as well as knowledge in the pest control industry. He
is a native to the San Diego North County area where he started
building homes with his father at the age of 16. In his spare
time, Michael enjoys fishing and spending time with his 16 year
old son. He is also an avid NASCAR fan. Michael is inspired by
helping his clients to reach their goals and help their dreams
become realty.

Dain Pulis
Dain Pulis, a San Diego native, started in construction in 9th
grade working before school at Valhalla. Dain joined
Best-Rate in 2008. He is a journey man in four trades and has a
degree in business. The most challenging thing he faces is the
raising of his four kids, and he finds it the most rewarding as
well. Dain is an East County boy, so he enjoys the river and the
desert.

Don Scouten
Don Scouten grew up in Chula Vista, attending Hilltop High
School. He started working in the home repair field at the age
of 17, and ended up in the termite industry in 1988. Don went
on to become a certified counselor and returned to the home
repair industry in 1993. He continues to be a repair advisor and
is the Director of Business Development with Best-Rate. He
enjoys motorcycle riding with Friends of Bill W. Don recently
became married to his lovely wife Shannon, and enjoys being the
step-father and best friend to her 8 year old son.
